Textile Forum: Thank you for 23 years of connection and creativity
After 23 successful years of showcasing beautiful, low-minimum fabrics alongside buttons, linings, labels and garment production specialists, we’ve made the considered decision not to run the October edition of Textile Forum. Scroll down to find out about a new show, organised by a group of past exhibitors.
The decision not to continue Textile Forum was not an easy one to make. For over two decades, the event has been a place to discover an exceptional range of stock and short order fabrics for womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, bridalwear, lingerie, eveningwear, outerwear, accessories and more. It has also been a space where manufacturers and suppliers connect with brands and designers with purpose.
But the industry has evolved – and so have our expectations for what an event should deliver. We believe it’s the right moment to pause and re-evaluate. Bringing people together to source and connect remains central to our work at the UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT), as is showcasing the very best of what exists here in the UK. We are committed to continuing this in ways that meet the needs of designers, brands and suppliers, now and in the future.
In the meantime, we’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to our exhibitors, visitors and team, as well as to the venue and suppliers who have contributed so much to the event’s legacy. Your support over the years has shaped something truly valued by the industry. We look forward to working with you to build what’s next.

New show: British fabric suppliers launch new London showcase
The Luxury Fabric Show will debut in Shoreditch, 14–15 October 2025
Leading British suppliers of fabrics and accessories are joining forces to launch a new exhibition, The Luxury Fabric Show, taking place on 14–15 October 2025 (10am–5pm) at The Box Office Studio, Shoreditch.
The event has been created to provide continuity for designers and buyers following the cancellation of the long-running Textile Forum. It will bring together a curated selection of luxury fabrics and accessories, with a particular focus on companies offering low minimums – supporting both established designers and emerging businesses. UKFT is not involved with the organisation of this new event.
“The Luxury Fabric Show will appeal to a broad range of buyers, including fashion, bridal, interiors and costume designers,” says exhibitor Laurent Garigue of Laurent Garigue Partnership.
Exhibitor Mike Bennett of Bennett Silks adds: “It is important to make it as easy as possible for fabric buyers from across the textile industry to source from British companies on home territory. I’m pleased that a group of like-minded suppliers are pulling together to build a new show.”
Exhibitors confirmed for the inaugural show include:
Bridal Fabrics, Henry Bertrand, Pongees, Ciment Pleating, Denholme Velvet, Marvic Fabrics, Jones Buttons, Bennett Silks and Laurent Garigue Partnership.
