Silk: A natural fibre
“Silk is one of the oldest and most valuable fabrics in the world and has a fascinating history that dates back over 8,500 years to ancient China. Silk is a long-lasting, biodegradable product, so doesn’t stay on our planet forever like synthetic fibres do.”
“We understand there is demand for more sustainable fabrics and fashion, as industries are becoming more aware of the impact their decisions relating to purchasing fabrics. As a result, we are looking into increasing sustainable elements into the production of our products and sourcing our fabric more sustainably. We aim to reduce the impact of our business on the environment by enhancing the importance to reuse and recycle our off-cut materials to minimise waste as much as possible.”
“We also require that all our suppliers, wherever they may be in the world, supply information in compliance with REACH and Oeko-Tex regulations.”
